8.1

VGA Output

The EPOCH 1000 Series comes standard with VGA output capability. This function
uses pins on the output port located in the computer connection compartment on the
right side of the instrument. This port is a combination VGA/RS-232 port. Using the
VGA output, you are able to display the full contents of the EPOCH 1000 Series screen
on any device that accepts VGA input.

To use the VGA output

1.

Turn off the EPOCH 1000 Series and the VGA device.

2.

Connect the EPXT-C-VGA-6 cable (optional item) to the VGA/RS-232 output
connector of the EPOCH 1000 Series (see Figure 8-1 on page 128), and then to the
VGA device.
