Confirm that “OLYMPUS Digital 
Camera” is in the “Universal Serial 
Bus Controller” category.

If you cannot find the “OLYMPUS 
Digital Camera”, turn the camera off, 
disconnect the camera from the 
computer and start again.
Users running Windows 98/98 SE 
start again from “Confirming the USB 
driver is installed”,
 and Users running 
Window Me/2000/XP start from 
“Connecting the camera to the 
computer
”.

If the USB driver was successfully installed, you can find the following in the 
“Device Manager”.

– the name of the camera you have connected listed under “Disk drives”
– “OLYMPUS Digital Camera” listed as one of the items in the “Universal 

Serial Bus Controller” category
