Entering/Editing Handset Names
It is possible to assign a name to the handset. This name then always
appears when the telephone is in Standby mode.
1. Press the
O button.
2. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the HANDSET menu.
3. Press the O button.
4. Use the
G
and
H
buttons to navigate to the HANDSET NAME
option.
5. Press the O button.
6. Enter the required name for the handset.
7. Press the
O
button.
Note: To delete characters or digits, press the C button. To enter letters,
press the relevant button the corresponding number of times, 1, 2, 3 or 4
times, according to its position on the button.
Keypad Beep
The keypad beep can be switched on or off.
1. Press the
O button.
2. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the HANDSET menu.
3. Press the O button.
4. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the KEYPAD BEEP option.
5. Press the O button.
6. Use the
G
and
H
buttons to navigate to the ON or OFF option.
7. Press the O button.
Selecting the Base Station
If your handset is registered on several base stations, you can define which
base station you want to use.
1. Press the
O button.
2. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the HANDSET menu.
3. Press the O button.
4. Use the
G
and
H
buttons to navigate to the SELECT BASE option.
5. Press the O button.
6. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the AUTO or MANUAL
option.
7. Press the
O
button.
If you have selected MANUAL :
8. Use the G and H buttons to select a base station.
9. Press the O button.
Default Settings/Reset
1. Press the O button.
2. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the HANDSET menu.
3. Press the O button.
4. Use the G and H buttons to navigate to the RESET option.
5. Press the O button.
6. Press the O button to confirm the operation or the I button to
cancel it.
7. Enter the 4 − digit PIN.
8. Press the O button.
Note: The PIN is set at the factory to “0000”.
