Connect the telephone line cord to the telephone jack, and the power supply to
a live power outlet. Make sure you are not using an outlet controlled by a
switch.

Place the Handset in the Base. The Handset and Base communicate with each
other automatically. This process may take a minute.

Leave the Handset in the Base for 10 hours so that the battery pack is fully
charged.

The CHARGE indicator on the Base glows when the Handset is charging.
