1.4. Start-up procedure
For processing and counting Euro banknotes, the NC 530 is recommended, because it also checks the safety
features infrared, magnetic ink, magnetic code and UV. Next to that it is equipped with 2D format detection.
1.
Connect the power cable to the NC 530.
2.
Connect the main power cable to a wall outlet and switch the NC 530 on.
3.
The machine automatically starts in EU-sorted mode.
4.
Place the banknotes flush stacked on two sides in the center of the feeder and adjust the two banknote
limiters for best counting results. If the banknotes are not stacked flush or centered, counting errors are
possible.
Please note:
To avoid miscounting and damage to the unit the following banknotes should be separated out before
counting:
1. pasted
banknotes
2. washed
banknotes
3.
very dirty banknotes
4. damaged
banknotes
