House Key Transactions
To perform House transactions the House function
must be assigned to one of the function keys on the
keypad.
House transactions are used when you wish to offer a
product free of charge to the customer. You simply
press the assigned House key prior to the department
or PLU registration to offer. The totals of the products
that are offered to the customer are zero.
Example: Register the sale of PLU 55 programmed
for an Eat-in meal and then offer the same meal free
of charge. End the transaction with an exact cash
tender.
Proceed as follows:
1. Type [55] and press the [PLU] key.
2. Press the assigned [House] key.
3. Type [55] and press the [PLU] key.
4. Press the [Amt Tend/Total] key. The transaction
ends successfully with the first meal charged and
the second offered by the establishment.
Price Inquiry Functions
For price inquiries the Price Inquiry function must be
assigned to one of the function keys on the keypad.
This feature is very useful when you want to know the
price of a selected PLU or associated to a product
barcode label.
Example: Find out the price registered to PLU 31
and to a product barcode label.
1. Press the assigned [Price Inq.] key.
2. Type the PLU number [31] and then press the
[PLU] key. The price is displayed along with the
name assigned to the PLU.
3. Press the assigned [Price Inq.] key.
4. Scan the product barcode label. The price is
displayed along with the name assigned to the
barcode.
