9.2 Board revision
Revision
Notable Changes
B
Initial release of the board
B1
R14 removed
C
1. Renamed from iMX233-OLINUXINO_Rev_C to iMX233-OLINUXINO-MAXI_Rev_C
2. BOOT jumpers moved to bottom of the board and the distance between them
was increased
3. Jumpers 3.3V_E and 3.3VIO_E moved to bottom and the distance between
them was increased
4. Jumpers SW_SCL/HW_SCL and SW_SCK/HW_SCK were made bigger and default
position moved to hardware I2C
5. 5V_E jumper moved to bottom
6. The FET located in parallel to power supply was removed
7. Q2 moved away from D1
8. The 40pin GPIO connector symbol was edited so it represents reality
(not symmetrical cut)
9. PWR_JACK and RCA connectors separated further
10. R1 changed from 100k to 4.7k because a Schottky
diode is added on the RX line
C1
C23 and C24 changed from 33pF to 15pf
D
1. Replaced the package of the microSD card with an easier to place
one
2. Fixed the accidentally mirrored LiPo print at the bottom
3. Changed C23, C24 to 10pF from 4.7pF. The 4.7pF capacitors allow
better start of the board but affect the video output quality since
the frequency gets disturbed. 10pF is a good compromise.
D1
After some series changed C83 to 20pF (from 100pF). The problem was
that the Debian 3.11 image does not recognize mass storage drive.
Other USB devices can be recognized. The capacitor value is
critical because if 100pF is placed the board starts better on
battery, but does not recognize any mass storage drive. IF 10pF is
placed – the mass storage drive is recognized but the board starts
more difficult only with battery supply. So the compromise is 20
pF.
