Lift up on media assembly and pull up and out to disengage. You will see a wired
connection on the underside that connects into the media sensor board(LD670
only). You will now have access to Platen roller and space motor for potential
replacement.

You can easily remove the print head and operator panel sensor from the top
cover as well.
