Check the CN3-4 pin with an oscillosope (when the ringing signal arrives at the
line). If a signal exists at RI-N, a part other than this board may be faulty. If no
signal is detected, go to the next probable cause.

Incorrect DIPSW setting.
Check the setting of DIPSW S1.

IC1 defect.
Replace IC1.

Incorrect DIPSW setting.
Correct DIPSW S4 according to the DIPSW setting table.

DC loop not formed at the time of DTMF dialing.
Check if a DC loop is formed at the time of DTMF call origination.
If not, either of the following parts may be defective. Replace them one by one.
IC5, Q3, DB1, IC10, RL1

RL6 defect.
Replace RL6.

RL3 defect. (When both transmission and receiving fail.)
Replace RL3.

T1 defect. (When both transmission and receiving fail.)
Replace T1.

DC loop not formed at the time of DP dialing.
Check if a DC loop is formed at the time of DP dialing.
If not, either of the following parts may be defective. Replace them one by one.
IC5, Q3, DB1, IC10, RL1

Incorrect DIPSW setting.
Correct DIPSW S4 according to the DIPSW setting table..

Check if a DC loop is formed. If not, either of the following parts may be defective.
Replace them one by one.

Check CN3-2 pin with an oscillosope.
Normal if 0V upon going off-hook at the externally connected telephone.
If other than 0V, go to the next probable vause.

Replace IC2 or RL7.
