Machine Setup

The Machine parameters set general settings and defaults for the

CX3641. For a complete list, see Table 8-7, “Machine Setup

Parameters”.

From the Setup Main Menu, touch the

Machine Setup

button to

display the options.

Parameter Explanation

Power Save
Delay Time

If the machine is not used for a specified amount of
time it goes into power save mode. Set the amount of
time by touching the button with the desired delay time.

Sound Control

Key Touch Tone Volume

Set the volume of the sound

that the machine makes when you touch the keys:

OFF: no sound

•

Low: lower sound

•

High: louder sound

Buzzer Volume

Set the volume of the buzzer sound:

•

OFF: no buzzer sound

•

Low: lower buzzer

•

High: louder buzzer

Firmware
Version

Lists the version of the scanner firmware installed in the
CX3541.

Fax Firmware
Version

Lists the version of the fax firmware installed in the
CX3541.
