At first use
At first use of the appliance:
- wash the pot (3), the ring (4) and the little forks (5) with hot water and
a dishes detergent (see “Cleaning” paragraph).
- Accurately rinse and dry the components.
Pay attention when washing the little forks (5) as their edges are
sharp.
Do not use abrasive sponges or detergents on these parts.
Do not wet the base (1) with water or other liquids. Check the
power socket integrity. Do not let water or other liquids enter
in contact with the socket (4).
• Place the base (1) on an horizontal and stable plane whose surface is not sensitive to
high temperatures.
Make sure that all the feet (1a) are supported by the plane.
• Grease the whole non-stick inner surface of the pot with cooking oil.
• Clean excess oil with paper towel or with a soft cloth; leave a thin layer of oil on the
non-stick surface.
Do not use grease, butter or margarine.
• Place the pot (3) on the base (1).
• Insert the food to heat in the pot (cheese, chocolate or other liquid condiments as, for
example, broth).
