GENERAL WARNINGS

- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands;
- never use the appliance with bare feet;
- never pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from the wall
socket;
- never leave the appliance outdoors where it can be exposed to the weather
conditions (rain, such, etc.);
- never let children or disabled persons use the appliance unattended.
• Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it in any way if it becomes faulty
and/or operates in an incorrect way. Repairs must only be carried out by a customer
service centre authorized by the manufacturer. Always insist on genuine spare
parts. Failure to comply with this recommendation could impair the safety of the
appliance.
• Should you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, remember to render it
unusable by cutting off the power cable after having removed the plug from the
power socket. Also make sure that all parts of the appliance liable to constitute a
danger are made harmless, particularly for children who could decide to use an
old appliance as a toy.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it’s functioning.
• Do not use the appliance next to a bath, to a shower or to a swimming pool
in order to avoid electric shocks. Do not use the appliance in places it may
accidentally be damaged.
• Do not let people having a shower, having a bath, or who are in another kind of
recipient full of water touch the appliance.
• Do not put your fingers or other foreign matter between the grids of the
protection grating. You would run the risk of electric shock and of being
consequently injured.
• Do not obstruct the openings and slots for ventilation and heat discharge.
• Do not place the fan above or near another heat source. WARNING: AVOID
COVERING THE FAN TO PREVENT IT FROM OVERHEATING.
• The fan may cause the risk of fire if, while in operation, is covered by or comes
into contact with inflammable material including curtains, drapery, blankets, etc.
KEEP THE FAN AWAY FROM THESE MATERIALS.
• Do not use the unit if the ambient temperature is above 40°C.
