Composing
a
Message
►
To
compose
an
SMS
message:
1
Press
the
Compose
shortcut
key
(
),
or
select
Compose
in
the
Home
screen
or
Application
menu
and
press
Enter
.
Select
the
SMS
tab.
OR
In
the
SMS
tab
of
the
Messages
application,
press
and
select
New
message
from
the
Options
menu.
The
Compose
screen
is
displayed,
with
the
SMS
tab
selected.

Insert
the
recipient’s
mobile
number
in
the
To
field.

Scroll
down
and
insert
the
message
text.
Note
:
A
counter
at
the
bottom
of
the
screen
indicates
the
remaining
number
of
characters
that
can
be
inserted
into
the
message.
A
single
SMS
message
can
include
up
to
160
characters.
Ogo
allows
you
to
create
a
longer
message,
and
breaks
it
into
up
to
four
separate
parts
when
sending.

Select
Send
and
press
Enter
.

compose

Select
the
required
E
‐
tab.
OR
In
the
E
‐
tab
of
the
Messages
application,
press
and
select
New
message
from
the
Options
menu.
The
Compose
screen
is
displayed,
with
the
E
‐
tab
selected
and
the
From
details
automatically
inserted.

Insert
the
recipient’s
e
‐
address,
the
message
subject,
and
message
text
in
the
designated
fields.

Select
Send
and
press
Enter
.
Note
:
If
you
attempt
to
leave
the
Compose
screen
without
sending
the
message,
you
are
prompted
to
save
it
as
a
draft.
Select
Yes
to
save
the
draft,
No
to
discard
the
message,
or
Cancel
to
remain
in
the
screen.
