3.5. BACKREST TILT ADJUSTMENT
After a new seat tilt set-up or to find a more comfortable seating position, it is possible to
change the backrest angle choosing from four different positions:
•
Loosen and remove the two screws that joint the backrest to the main frame.
•
Choose the most convenient position from the four available.
•
Re-place the screw and tighten them properly to allow the folding movement of the
backrest.
3.6. BACKREST DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
Some time can be necessary to move back the backrest to install a postural back system or
to modify the balancing set-up without changing the seat upholstery depth and the general
set-up. Ruby allows to move back the backrest of 2 or 4 cm without any extra adjustment.
•
Loosen and remove the four screws that joint the back side of the frame with the
SHS supports.
•
Choose the most convenient position from the available ones pulling out the
telescopic holder.
•
Re-place the screw and tighten them properly.
3.7. FRONT FORK HOLDERS ADJUSTMENT
Once the set-up of the wheelchair is changed is very important to check if the front fork
supports are still perpendicular to the ground in order to drive the wheelchair easily and
smoothly.
If necessary is possible to correct the angle of the front fork support as follow:
•
Loosen the screw that hold the front fork plates.
