5.2
Anti-tip device adjustment
The position of the anti-tip is defined during the assembly. It is however possible to change its
distance from floor if necessary.
5.2.1
Adjustment through fixing plates
•
Loosen without removing the “A” screws;
•
Rotate the anti-tip support until the desired
distance of the small wheel from the floor is
reached;
•
Tighten properly the “A” screws.
5.2.2
Terminal adjustment
•
Remove the “B” screw;
•
Move the telescopic end terminal until the small
wheel is in the correct position;
•
Insert the “B” screw and fix it properly.
6.
Spokes Guards
Spokes guards on real wheels prevent the user from putting accidentally hands or fingers
between the spokes of the wheels.
They are also used for aesthetical purposes: they often bear designs and are extremely
colourful (they are mostly used for children wheelchairs).
They can be attached to the spokes with velstraps or clips (it depends on the model).
