Solar panel (PV) charging connection:
1) Insert the supplied solar panel cable into the “PV” terminal on the appliance.
2) Turn on the appliance by pressing and holding the power button on the display for 3 seconds
3) If you want to charge the battery, press and hold the power button on the battery for 3 seconds.
With the device switched off, the solar panel will safely charge the battery.
With the appliance switched on, the solar panel will only charge the battery if it has excess energy in addition to that needed to
power the device. The power provided by the solar panel depends on the atmospheric conditions and exposure to sunlight.
N.B: The Solar Panel is sold separately as an optional
- Warning! Do not charge fridge/freezer with 12-24VDC and Solar Panel at the same time! The unit may be seriously
damaged and pose a potential hazard to you.
- When using the solar panel to charge the appliance, use the extension cord and keep the appliance sheltered to prevent
overheating during charging via the solar panel.
