CHARGING THE UNIT
IMPORTANT! NEVER CHARGE UNIT UNATTENDED. CHARGE
IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE, AND EVERY 3-6 MONTHS, TO
KEEP THE INTERNAL BATTERY FULLY CHARGED AND PROLONG
BATTERY LIFE. CHARGE AFTER USE. IF USED TO JUMP START.
ALLOW UNIT TO COOL DOWN FOR 15-20 MIN BEFORE CHARGING.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE THE UNIT WHILE CHARGING THE
INTERNAL BATTERY.
1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the unit’s wall
charger from the outlet before attempting any maintenance
or cleaning. Simply turning off the controls will not reduce
this risk.
2. When charging the internal battery, do so in a well-ventilated
area and do not leave unattended. Never charge the unit
immediately after jump start. Allow 15-20 min cool down.
HOW TO CHARGE POWER SOURCE
1. Plug the Micro USB cable into the unit input port.
2. Insert the other end of the USB cable into:
(A) an AC adapter connected to the wall socket
(B) a charging computer USB port
(C) the DC adapter socket of a cigarette lighter
(both AC adapter and car adapter are included)

HOW TO USE THE JUMP STARTER
WHEN CONNECTING TO THE BATTERY
WARNING
: A SPARK NEAR THE BATTERY MAY CAUSE A
BATTERY EXPLOSION.TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A SPARK NEAR
THE BATTERY:
1. Attach the output cables to the battery and proper ground
as indicated below. Never allow the output clamps to touch
each other.
2. Position the DC cables to reduce the risk of damage by the
hood, door and moving or hot engine parts.
NOTE:
If it is necessary to close the hood during the jump starting
process. Ensure that the hood does not touch the metal part of the
battery clips or cut the insulation of the cables.
3. Stay clear of fan blades, belts, pulleys and other parts that can
cause injury.
4. Check the polarity of the battery posts. The POSITIVE
(POS, P, +) battery post usually has a larger diameter than
the NEGATIVE (NEG, N, -) post. Determine which post of the
battery is grounded (connected) to the chassis. If the negative
post is grounded to the chassis (as in most vehicles), see step
6. If the positive post is grounded to the chassis, see step 7.
5. For a negative-grounded vehicle, connect the POSITIVE
(RED) clamp from the power source to the POSITIVE
(POS, P, +) ungrounded post of the battery. Connect the
NEGATIVE (BLACK) clamp to the NEGATIVE (NEG, N, -) post of
the battery. Do not connect the clamp to the carburetor, fuel
lines or sheet-metal body parts.
6. For a positive-grounded vehicle, connect the NEGATIVE
(BLACK) clamp from the power source to the NEGATIVE
(NEG, N, -) ungrounded post of the battery. Connect the
POSITIVE (RED) clamp to the POSITIVE (POS, P, +) grounded
post of the battery. Do not connect the clamp to the carburetor,
fuel lines or sheet-metal body parts.
7. When disconnecting the unit, remove the clamp from
the power source, and then remove the clamps from the
battery terminals.
JUMP START 12V VEHICLE INSTRUCTION
1. Make sure that the unit is showing no less than 3 lights on the
LED charge indicator display before using as a jumpstarter.
2. Connect the RED clamp to the vehicle’s battery positive (+)
terminal and connect the BLACK clamp to the battery negative
(-) terminal.
3. Plug the cord of jumper cable into the jump start output port.
4. Check indicator light on the clamps. If the light is green, it’s
ready to go. Start the vehicle, otherwise check the connection.
5. When the vehicle is started, remove the jumper cable from the
device and disconnect RED and BLACK clamps from vehicle
battery terminals.
6. Leave the vehicle’s engine running.
7. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE VEHICLE WITH THIS DEVICE
CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY, OR LEAVE ATTACHED TO THE
BATTERY OF A RUNNING VEHICLE
