Monitor Operation
Safe Monitor Operation
The vehicle must be in park and the parking brake applied to view video on the in-dash monitor.
The video display of the in-dash unit will not operate while the vehicle is moving. As a safety feature,
a blue “
PARKING ” screen will show on the display when the vehicle's parking brake is not engaged.
DVD, AV1 audio can be heard while the vehicle is in motion.
It is illegal in most states for the driver to view video while the vehicle is in motion. Refer to local laws
in your area.

Open / Close Monitor
When TFT Auto Open is set to OFF , press to open or close the monitor or press OPEN on the
remote. Be careful not to not touch the monitor during the open/close sequence.
If "
TFT Auto Open " is ON , when the unit is turned on, the monitor automatically opens to the last
viewing position.
If "
TFT Auto Open " is MANUAL , when the unit is turned on, the monitor will not move.
To set desired operation of Monitor:
Touch AREA A Touch SETUP button Select desired TFT setting
Monitor Angle Position
The color of the LCD monitor varies between viewing angles. The monitor angle can be adjusted for
optimum viewing using one of the following methods:
Press and hold the button on the front to continuously adjust the tilt angle.
Adjust the SCREEN TILT by touching Area A :
Touch SCREEN Setup Touch Screen Tilt number Select desired angle
