General Description
The Storm is powered by an electric motor driving a tandem hydrostatic
pump system, creating a (skid-steer) zero turn radius drivetrain. Surface
covering and coatings are removed by lowering a weighted blade onto the
surface and moving forward under a high torque drive system. A flexible
sharpened blade conforming to the floor surface then removes the surface
coating. The weight of the machine holds the blade firmly to the floor and
does not allow the blade to lift or jump over well-adhered surface coating
material, thus lifting the floor coating.
