Connecting external alarm systems (CHARGER only)
It is possible to connect an external alarm system to the DIN-
terminal in the rear of the charger.

potential-free connected relay contact which is closed
on an incoming alert
(for alarm system with independent power supply)
pin 2
earth point
pin 5
power supply of 6V DC for external alarm system
pin 4
asymmetrical AF-terminal
(for external speakers with power amplifier)
Important:
The length of the connecting cords between the
charger and external alarm should not exceed 3m.

Oelmann Elektronik GmbH herewith declares that the
Charger LX2 / LX4 and the Standard Charger LX2 / LX4 are in
accordance with the essential requirements and regulations of the
directive 1999/5/EC. The complete declaration can be requested by
the manufacturer.
The external alarm systems should only be installed by an
authorised technician.
