IMPORTANT
Do not plug in any appliance with a load exceeding 16(2) A or more than
3,500 W. Always ensure the plug of any appliance to be controlled is fully
inserted into the timer socket and the timer plug is always fully inserted
into the power socket.
Disconnect the timer from the electric circuit if cleaning is required.
Wipe it with a clean cloth.
The timer must not get into contact with water or any other liquid.
Heaters should never be left unattended when in operation with a timer.
We recommend such appliances not be connected to timers at all.
COMMISSIONING
1. Plug the timer into an earthed 230 V AC socket and charge the backup
battery for 12 hours.
2. After charging, delete all current information by pressing the
RESET button with a pointed object like a biro or a paper clip.
3. The timer is now ready to be set up for use.
MANUAL ON / AUTO / MANUAL OFF
1. Press the MODE button to switch among the operating modes MANUAL
ON, AUTO and MANUAL OFF.
2. In the modes MANUAL ON and MANUAL OFF the parameters programmed
are not activated. The connected appliance is powered in the MANUAL ON
mode, in the MANUAL OFF mode it is not.
3. When the mode is switched from MANUAL to AUTO, the timer will keep
the setting (ON or OFF) until the next timer setting.
SETTING WEEKDAY AND CLOCK
1. Press the CLOCK button and hold while you also press the WEEK button
until the actual day is displayed. Set the time in the same way by pressing the
CLOCK button and the HOUR button at the same time and then the MIN
button until the correct time is displayed. When setting
WEEK, HOUR or MIN, you can hold the buttons for rapid forward counting.
2. Release both buttons. Week and clock will be set.
3. In order to reset false time settings, please repeat the steps above.
COUNTDOWN FUNCTION
1. Press both buttons CLOCK and MODE to enter the countdown function.
The display shows COUNT.
2. Press HOUR and MIN to set the operating time.
3. Press the CLOCK button to start the countdown. The appliance will stop
at the end of the operating time.
4. Press the CLOCK button again to stop the countdown early.
SETTING WEEK PROGRAMMES
The timer has a total of 20 ON/OFF programmes a day. The programmes can
be defi ned for single days of the week and for combinations of weekdays.
18 combinations of days or blocks of days are available as follows:

1. Press the TIMER button and release. The fi rst ON setting can be made now.
2. Press the WEEK button to choose one of the 18 day combinations. Then
press the HOUR and MIN button to adjust the correct starting time.
3. Press the TIMER button again to fi nish the fi rst ON setting and enter the fi rst
OFF setting by repeating step 2 to make the fi rst OFF setting (stop time).
4. Press the TIMER button again to fi nish the fi rst OFF setting and enter the
second ON setting if required. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set all desired timer
intervals.
5. Finally, press the CLOCK button to leave the programming mode. The pro-
grammes will be saved now.
6. In order to delete the programmes, press the TIMER button repeatedly until
the desired programme (1 ON, 1 OFF, 2 ON, 2 OFF etc.) is displayed.
Then hold the CLEAR button for 5 seconds. The respective programme will
be deleted when 4 bars (- - : - -) are displayed instead of hours and minutes.
All ON and OFF settings can be individually deleted in this way.
EXAMPLE: TIMER ON at 16:20 and TIMER OFF at 20:15 daily
1. Press TIMER and the display shows 1 ON.
2. Press WEEK until the display shows MO TU WD TH FR SA SU.
3. Press HOUR until the display shows 16:00.
4. Press MIN until the display shows 16:20.
5. Press TIMER again. The display shows 1 OFF.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the display shows 20:15.
7. Press CLOCK to fi nish the setting.
NOTE: Ensure that your time settings do not overlap.
LOCK FUNCTION
The CLEAR button can be used to lock the timer against unwanted operation.
1. Press the CLEAR button to activate the work mode of the timer.
2. Then press the CLEAR button and hold it for 5 seconds. The operation of
the timer is locked now.
3. By pressing the CLEAR button again for 5 seconds, the lock is released.
RANDOM FUNCTION
1. Press both WEEK and HOUR buttons at the same time and the display will
show RANDOM.
2. When this function is on, the programmed setting will be executed earlier
or later with a random advance of 0 to 32 minutes.
3. By simultaneously pressing the WEEK and HOUR buttons again, the function
is cancelled.
SUMMERTIME FUNCTION
1. Press both buttons HOUR and MIN and the display shows SUMMER.
The clock will set back one hour then.
2. Press the two buttons again to revert to wintertime.
