Upgrade player (Firmware upgrade)

You may upgrade ormaintain the system firmware for this playerby
the tool software that installed in computer.



Install the provided Firmware upgrade tool.



Enable the upgrade via the corresponding option in system settings
(see Section 4.8 System-Settings).



Connect the MP3 playerto your PC using the USB cable.



Execute the upgrade tool forthe MP3 player on the computer. Click
on the “Open”button and select the correct firmware file.



Click on “Update”and begin the firmware update.



Now remove the USB cable.

The firmware upgrade is used in improving and optimizing
the performance of player. And it does not affect the normal

run of the playerwithout the firmware upgrade.
The firmware upgrade will possibly lead to the abnormal

working due to the mistake operation! So please read the
instruction carefully before operating.
The firmware upgrade software of the player is not suitable
for otherseries players, vice versa. Onlyuse additional

update files from our website

www.odys.de

.

If no firmware updates are available on the website, then no

updates are needed for yourdevice. The warrantyis void if
you use unsupported firmware versions.
A firmware update is only required if the device is no longer
working and the software errorcausing the problem needs to

be repaired.
