UV Bulb Replacement (2500UV & 3500UV Only)
1. Unplug the unit.
2. Take off the upper cover by removing the upper cover screws.
3. Rotate the defective UV bulb until you see the end pins of the bulb in the
sockets, then take out the UV bulb.
4. Put the new UV bulb into place and rotate it until secure in sockets.
5. Replace the upper cover and replace the cover screws.
Troubleshooting
If you suspect a problem with your unit check the following:
•
Unit is plugged in properly to a grounded wall outlet.
•
Wall outlet is active.
•
Ceramic plates are clean and dry.
•
There are no cracks in plates and each plate is pushed in completely.
•
Fuse is installed properly and in good condition. To replace fuse, rotate
fuse holder counterclockwise to unscrew, remove old fuse and insert new
fuse. Replacement fuse must be 1 amp (1.25 inch).
•
It is important that the OdorStop unit be properly grounded to avoid
potential shock.
If no buzzing sound is detected when turning the Ozone Output dial to
High, clean plates before contacting the Service Department.
Caution: No attempt should be made to remove a panel of the cabinet,
except to change a UV bulb. Opening the unit will void all warranties and
may cause serious injury or death.
