Connecting the Product
Turn the power on and connect the end of the USB cable to the USB port on the right-hand
side of the product, and connect the other end to the USB port of the computer. The device
driver is automatically installed and you can check it through Windows Explorer on the
computer. (For Windows 98, however, you should download the device driver from the odd-i
web site and install it manually.)
- Please exit all programs before connecting or removing a USB host or device, if possible, and select
Connect or Remove from the Main Menu to connect or remove a USB host or device.
- Make sure to run the ‘Safely Remove Hardware’ before disconnecting the USB Device cable,
otherwise you may lose data.

Safely Remove Hardware: If you click the icon from the Taskbar of your computer, ‘USB Mass
Storage Device’ appears in the Safely Remove Hardware window. Select it and click ‘Stop’. The
Stop a Hardware device pop-up window appears. Select ‘OK’. Then you can remove the hardware
safely.
Connecting a USB Device-This is available only when a hard disk drive is installed.
Connect the power cable jack to the Power port of the product.
