Chapter 3 TECHNICAL DATA
SPECIFICATIONS
The 5610 is a general purpose relay module with six Single Pole,
Double Throw (SPDT) relays and two Single Pole, Single Throw
(SPST) relays. The dry contacts are suitable for switching transduc-
ers, temperature sensors, low level signals, and low power levels.
Sockets connect the relays to the card, so replacing them is fast and
simple; no special tools are required. The 5610 does not have any
fuses. The contacts end with a terminal block. Isolation between
relays and the module circuitry is 500 volts.
The contacts are rated at 0.25 amps or 3 watts, whichever is higher.
Each relay channel is rated to 120 VAC; operation above 32 volts AC
or DC is not recommended for operator safety reasons.
Mapping
Occupies 16 I/O port addresses – port 100H as shipped. May be
remapped by jumper to any of 8 addresses on 16 byte boundaries.

Output Channels
Six SPDT redundant contact relay outputs and two SPST (Normally
Open) relay outputs.
