Power Off

It is important to turn the unit off between deployments and for long term storage. If powering at

-12V this is accomplished by simply removing power. In all other cases you must use the Power

Down Tool supplied in the case and follow this procedure:

1. Turn off any recording on the hydrophone.
2. Unplug the barrel connector of the power adaptor to remove the power supply.

3. Put the hydrophone into Standby mode.

Using the web interface or Lucy software, select the Standby option under Operations. The

hydrophone will buzz three times.
