1x6 Video Distribution Amplifier
OMX-VDA6
800 Kings Highway • Saugerties, NY 12477
A Division of Tower Products, Inc.
If the OMX-VDA6 is the only DA in your system,
you must terminate the video input with a 75
Ω
ter-
minator (installed on unit). Without proper termi-
nation of the OMX-VDA6 will not function properly.
Feed the video signal into the unit by connecting to
the BNC input. Terminate the other BNC connec-
tor in the input section if the OMX-VDA6 is being
used as a single unit.
The Diagram at Right
shows a basic setup using a Master VCR distribut-
ing a signal to two other VCRs.
If the OMX-VDA6 is one unit in a series of DAs
(bridging), then the other BNC in the input section
that has the terminator in place is used to “loop” to
the inputs of the other DAs. You must remove the
terminator from each DA that is looping to another.
The last DA in the chain must be terminated. See
sample Diagram at Right.

The OMX-VDA6 is shipped from the factory already calibrated and ready to use. There is no need for
any customer adjustments for normal use of the unit. There are, however, certain procedures that must
be observed to assure proper performance of the unit in your system.
