1. Switching your radio on for the first time

Power Supply
Mains Adaptor (supplied with the package).
Connect the mains adaptor to the DC power socket of the radio to the wall socket.

Extend the telescopic aerial as far as it can go. Always make sure that the aerial is
extended to ensure the maximum signal strength and the best possible sound quality.

Press the ON/OFF to turn the radio on from standby. The LCD backlight will light up during
the operation of the radio, and begin to scan for the stations. Once the scan has finished;
the radio will select the first alphanumerically found station.

When the radio is powered on for the first time, it will start "Full Scan" for available Digital
Radio stations. When the scan is completed, the first station (alphabetically) will begin to
play.

If there no stations the display will shows “OFF AIR”. And a “Full Scan” can be done to find
DAB stations manually.

Press the ON/OFF button again; the radio will go to standby mode. The display will show
the clock.

Adjust the volume
Tune the “VOLUME/SELECT” to adjust the volume level.

To explore the stations that have been found, you can press DOWN or UP button to skip to
the next found station. When you find a station that you would like to listen to, and then
press the “VOLUME/SELECT” button, or after 5 seconds, the radio will shows “TUNING”
on the display then auto select the current station which showed on the LCD.
2. Changing the Mode
The DAB Radio has three modes of operation:

DAB Radio
○
FM Radio
○
bluetooth mode
Press the “MODE” button to select FM/DAB/bluetooth mode, or use the MODE key on the
remote control to change Mode.
Under DAB mode, you can listen to DAB radio stations.
Under FM mode, you can listen to FM radio stations.
Under bluetooth mode, you can enjoy the music from your bluetooth device trough the radio
device.

Press the Mode button until a bluetooth mode is shown on the LCD Display.

The radio is now ready for pairing. Turn on the bluetooth on your device and look up the
device named “DB-220B” from the list and select it. It will start pairing with the radio.
3)
If the connection is successful, it will show “Connected” on your bluetooth device list. And
the radio will show “PAIRED” on the display.
4)
You can start playing the music from your bluetooth device through the radio adaptor.
