® Program of the United
States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The purpose of the E
NERGY
S
TAR
® Program is to promote the manufacturing and marketing of
energy-efficient equipment, thereby potentially reducing combustion-related
pollution. Using the energy management features outlined below prevents
unnecessary power consumption, which helps to prevent air pollution from
electricity generating plants and saves money on your utility bills.

® Partner, Océ-Technologies B.V. has determined that
from the Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 Digital Copier series the Océ VarioPrint 2055
and Océ VarioPrint 2065 meet the E
NERGY
S
TAR
® guidelines for energy
efficiency. The Océ VarioPrint 2045 has the same energy efficiency features
but does not meet the E
NERGY
S
TAR
® requirement for the low power mode.
Read the Product Safety Data Sheet in this appendix for power consumption
data.
Read the Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC Configuration and Maintenance Manual
to set the energy save modes.

® Criteria include following features:

The energy save modes:
Low power mode
The Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC enters automatically the low power mode
15 minutes after completion of the last job. The Key Operator can adjust the
low power mode default time (1-15 minutes).
Auto-off mode
The Océ VarioPrint 2045-65 DC switches off automatically 90 minutes
after completion of the last job. The Key Operator can adjust the auto-off
default time (10-90 minutes).
If the above mentioned default times for the low power mode (15 minutes)
or auto-off mode (90 minutes) cause inconvenience, request the service
technician to increase the limit to a maximum of 240 minutes. We suggest
