Initial Device Setup
First of all, you must set up how this equipment is managed and works as copier, printer, scanner, and fac-
simile. This equipment can be used with the default settings, but some must be configured for this equip-
ment works properly.

Setup the Network Document Processing System
This equipment is the Network-Ready MFP that can be used immediately after you connect to your net-
work.
However, it is recommended to read following sections to make sure you choose right environments and
efficient settings for each features on this equipment even if you connect the machine to the above envi-
ronments. Also some features require configuring the settings to suit your environments.
This equipment may provide advanced document processing system in your place, if you add little more
environments in your place.
