How to use the appliance
Dry your hair with a towel and brush the hair thoroughly before you use the
hair dryer. Plug to a wall outlet and select desired speed and heat by means
of the toggle switches on the handle of the hair dryer. The hair dryer has
2 speed settings (lower toggle switch) ”HIGH” and ”LOW”, and ”OFF” for
switching off, and 2 heat settings (the upper toggle switch) - ”HIGH” and
”LOW”.
We recommend high temperature and high airflow for fast drying or if you
just need a light drying before styling. Switch on the hair dryer by means of
the speed setting button on the handle.
Cool function
If you finish the styling by activating the cool function (keep the circular button
placed above the temperature button pressed), you cool down the hair, which
gives you a longer lasting styling. Release the button to shut off the function.
When the cool function is activated, the air flow may increase a little.
Concentrator nozzle
The concentrator nozzle concentrates the air flow when you want to shape a
hairstyle, e.g. with a barrel brush. Mount the concentrator nozzle with a slight
pressure and remove it by turning it loose. If you need a fast hair drying,
remove the concentrator nozzle and set the hair dryer at high temperature and
high air flow.
Diffuser
The diffuser is used for making the hair more voluminous. Mount the diffuser to
the hair dryer and let it just touch the bottom of the hair. Move it around in the
hair in small, circular movements. The hair is now being dried from the root to
the end, which gives extra volume. It is an advantage to use the diffuser if you
want to dry curly hair without straightening the curls.
Suspension eye
The hair dryer comprises a suspension eye at the cord support that makes it
easy to suspend it after use.
Overheating fuse
The hair dryer comprises an overheating fuse. Overheating may occur if the
air inlet is covered, clogged by hair and dust or if the outlet is blocked. In case
of overheating, the hair dryer will switch off automatically. In such case, switch
off the appliance by means of the speed switch (OFF) and let it cool. The hair
dryer will be ready for use after a few minutes.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Always unplug before cleaning.
• Clean the air inlet at regular intervals. The outer grid can easily be removed
by turning it counter-clockwise. Clean the inner grid by using a small brush
to remove dust and hair. Put the grid back on and turn clockwise.
