Frying
Pour the batter in the middle of the lower plate and close the lid, press a few
seconds so that the batter is spread evenly. Do not press during the whole process
though this will prevent the waffle from rise. The green pilot lamp will turn on and
off during use, this is normal.
Frying time
The frying time varies depending on the batter you use and how well fried you
want the waffle. When you think your waffle is ready, open the lid and remove
the waffle with a plastic or wooden utensil (metal can damage the coating). Place
the waffle on a grid to keep the crispiness.
Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Never clean the appliance when
plugged in. Let the iron cool before cleaning. Never immerse the appliance or its
cord in water or any other liquid.
Use a damp cloth and mild detergent for cleaning of the plates. Never use sharp
objects to clean the plates since the coating can be damaged. Dry the housing
with a damp cloth.
Recipe waffles
400 g flour
150 g caster sugar
175 g butter
6 dl milk
2 eggs
1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla sugar
Whisk the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add milk and melted butter and continue to
whisk. Add the eggs and whisk again. Leave the batter in the refrigerator for 30
minutes before frying. The batter should be viscous. Fry the waffles and leave
them on a grid. Serve the waffle while still hot.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be
collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment
marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such equipment
must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
