and only use the handle of the appliance.
12. The appliance is not for outdoor use or for use in
a humid room.
13. Never dismantle the appliance or move it when it
contains hot water. Wait until the appliance and
water has cooled.

Hot steam develops during use and
can cause burns.

Avoid injuries from the spike.
16. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for
damage before use. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
17. For additional protection the installation of a
residual current device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is
recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
18. The appliance is for domestic use only.
19. If the appliance is used for other purposes than
intended, or is it not handled in accordance with
the instruction manual, the full responsibility for
any consequences will rest with the user. Any
damages to the product or other things are not
covered by the warranty.
Before use
Wash the lid and egg holder in hot soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe
the hotplate with a damp cloth or sponge.
Use
The amount of water to be added depends on the number of eggs and how
well you want the eggs cooked. The accompanying measuring cup therefore
has 3 scales: soft, medium and hard, as follows:
Soft = Soft boiled
Medium = Medium boiled
Hard = Hard boiled
