OBH Nordica Bed warmer
Before use
Before you use the appliance for the first time, read the
instruction manual carefully, and save it for future use.
This product is equipped with a safety system that within milliseconds cuts the current
if there is short circuit or exceptional high power consumption. If the safety system is
activated it is not possible to use the product due to safety reasons. The heating pad
should then be disposed according to section “Disposal of the appliance”.
Use
Check that the switch is in off position (0) and that the switch and it´s socket is connected
to the plug on the underside of the bed warmer. The bed warmer can only be used with
switch supplied (C98A1). Due to hygienic reasons the bed warmer should only be placed
between the sheet and the mattress. Place the bed warmer on top of the mattress at the
foot-end and not underneath the pillow. Check that the bed warmer is not folded or creased
every time you make the bed or switch bedding.
To reach optimal temperature we recommend that you start the appliance at least 10
minutes before use.
Timer
This bed warmer has a timer function that automatically switches off the unit after 75
minutes (± 7,5 min) or 12 hours (± 54 min). Connect the plug to the outlet. Set the switch at
desired time. Choose temperature 1-9 by turning the temperature regulator, the temperature
display illuminates. We recommend that you start at the highest setting (9) and lower if
necessary. If you shall use the bed warmer during night you should set the temperature
regulator at setting 1. When the chosen timer setting has passed the unit switches off and
the pilot lamp next to the switch twinkles. If you want to switch off the appliance before the
times has passed, set the switch to 0 and unplug the appliance. If you want to change timer
setting, set the switch to 0 and wait a few seconds before you change setting.
Note that
the switch always should be set to 0 and the appliance should be unplugged when
it´s not in use.
