OBH Nordica Heating waist belt
Before use
Before you use the appliance for the first time, read the instruction
manual carefully, and save it for future use.
This product is equipped with a safety system that within milliseconds cuts the current if
there is short circuit or exceptional high power consumption. If the safety system is activated
it is not possible to use the product due to safety reasons. The waist belt should then be
disposed according to section “Disposal of the appliance”.
Use
The waist belt is especially designed for waist and back. Fit the belt around your waist with
the Velcro fastening.
Check that the switch is in off position (0). Connect the plug to the outlet. Sit or lay down with
the switch within reach. Make sure that the cord between the belt and switch is not folded
or rolled up. The switch gets warm during use which is normal. Do not cover the switch
and do not place it on the waist belt during use. Start the appliance by choosing one of the
following settings:
0 - Off
1 - Minimum temperature
2 - Medium temperature
3 - Maximum temperature
We recommend that you start at the highest setting (3) and reduce the heat if needed.
Timer function - automatic shut off
When the waist belt is in 1-3 setting, the selected number will illuminate and the waist belts
electronic temperature control will guarantee:
that the heat is regulated as soon as possible when switching from one setting to •
another.
that the waist belt is not over heated.

that the waist belt is automatically switched off after 90 minutes use (±10 min) without •
a break. The pilot lamp for the timer function will light which confirms that the appliance
has been shut off. To start the appliance again, push the switch to 0 and choose a
setting.
Note
To use the waist belt continuously during a long time can cause burns that can appear long
after. Never use the waist belt longer than 90 minutes without a break!
