15. Avoid creasing the heating pad by placing items on top of it during storage as
this can destroy the safety system.
16. Do not insert pins or the like in the heating pad.
17. Examine the pad frequently/when changing the linen for signs of wear, damage or dark
spots. If such signs are found, the heating pad must be discarded or returned to the
place of purchase for repair.
18. Regardless of the extent of use the appliance must be discarded and disposed of 10
years after the purchase date for safety reasons due to natural ageing of the appliance
19. Under no circumstances must the regulator be immersed into water or other liquids.
20. The heating pad must not be used in sanitary areas.
21. When washing the cover the instruction manual should be observed.
22. Do not use when humid or wet – wait until the heating pad is completely dry.
23. The plug on the supply cord must be unplugged immediately if
- the heating pad becomes extremely warm although a low temperature level has been
selected.

- crackling is heard from the switch, or in the case of visible damages to the switch, the
heating pad, the plug or the cord.
- the heating pad has not become warm/warmer after 10 minutes at maximum
temperature.

24. The appliance is for domestic use only.
25. The heating pad is not intended for use within the field of application of the pharmaceutical
product law; i.e. not for treatment, palliation or prevention of illness, injuries, handicaps,
including especially
- medical treatment in hospitals, nursing homes or other institutions
- medical treatment within professional or commercial nursing
26. Under no circumstances should attempts be made to repair the pad since it involves
great risk. Without special tools it is not possible to restore the safety of the parts.
27. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
28. The electrical installation must comply with the present legislation concerning additional
protection in the form of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA). Check with your installer.
29. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or is it not handled in accordance
with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences will rest with the
user. Any damages to the product or other things are not covered by the warranty.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be collected
for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with the symbol
indicating separate collection of such equipment must be returned to a municipal
waste collection point.
Warranty
Claims according to current law. Cash receipt with purchase date shall be enclosed with any
claims. When raising a claim the appliance must be returned to the store of purchase.
