3.4 Powering Off
All vehicle communications must be terminated before switching off the smart diagnostic
device. Forced shutdown while communicating may cause problems with the electronic
control modules of some vehicles, so please exit the diagnostic application before shutting
down.
How to power off?
a)
Press and hold the
[Lock/Power]
button for 2-3 seconds.
b)
After selecting
[Power off]
, the system will shut down in a few seconds.
3.5 Reboot
a) Press and hold the
[Lock/Power]
button for 2-3 seconds.

[Reboot]
, the system will reboot in a few seconds.
4 Diagnostic Operation
The diagnostic program establishes a data connection with the vehicle ECU through the
diagnostic main cable, and can read ECU information, view fault codes, check data flow
parameters, and perform actuation tests. Diagnostic applications can access the ECUs
(Electronic Control Units) of multiple vehicle control systems such as engine, transmission,
anti-lock braking system (ABS), etc.
4.1 Establishing Vehicle Communications
a)
Attach the diagnostic main cable (Some functions require appropriate adapters or other
accessories. Please refer to software operating instructions for detailed operations) to
the vehicle’s diagnostic socket for power supply and communication.
b)
Ready to diagnose and service the vehicle.
