Safety instructions
– If you are in any doubt regarding the installation of this device, please consult
a qualified technician.
– For your own protection, please contact an electrician in the event of questions
and problems.
– Ensure that the electrical data of the power supply coincides with the data on
the pump type label. Only operate using an earthing - contact socket outlet with
connected earthing conductor.
– Never use installation, extension or connection cables or adapters without
protective contact.
– Ensure that a residual current operating system with a tripping
current of 30 mA is installed in the installation / supply line, otherwise
known as a RCD or RCCB.
– Never carry or pull the unit by its connection cable.
– Never operate the Aquaswim if persons are located in the water. Ensure that
swimming pools and garden ponds meet international and national regulations.
– Always disconnect the power supply before handling the pump in any way.
– Keep the connection points (power plug) dry.
– Never operate the pump if the cable or housing appear defective.
– Please send the defective pump directly to the supplier / manufacturer for
repair.
Caution! The built in temperature monitor automatically (only Aqauaswim
2500) turns off the pump in the case of overload (a blocked rotor for example).
After the motor cools down the pump will restart automatically. Accident
hazard!
Start-up
– Read all safety instructions prior to starting-up the unit!
– Observe the national and international electronic safety instructions when
installing and operating the fountain unit.
– Never allow the unit to run dry or operate it in the sludge of a lake.
– Place the unit into the water far away from the bank, so that no water can
spray outside of the pond.
– Roll up excess cable beneath the unit. This will prevent the unit from drifting to
the edge of the pond (Fig.3).
– Balance the unit,if it is not lying straight in the water.Dismantle the unit (see
dismantling instructions) and carefully cut off a piece of the float (Fig. 2) using
a knife. Turn the float to find the correct balance.
– Roll up excess cable beneath the unit. This will prevent the unit from drifting to
the edge of the pond (Fig.3).
