Cleaning
– Disconnect at power supply.
– Take the fountain unit out of the water, spray it down with water and clean it
using a soft brush.
– Ensure that all slots are free of dirt.
– In the event of dirt deposits inside the unit, dismantle the housing section (see
Dismantling), and clean the interior parts with water.
Repair
– Have repairs performed only by the supplier / manufacturer.
Dismantling
1. Separate the top and bottom section of the unit with the aid of coin or a wide
screwdriver (Fig. 4).
2. If necessary, clean the unit with a soft brush.
3. Pull off the fountain attachment (Fig. 5).
4. Remove the stainless steel cover.
5. Remove the lid by disengaging the snap connection on the bottomside (Fig. 6
and 7).
6. Use a tool to loosen the nuts (Fig. 8).
7. Remove the pump.
8. Turn the pump housing counterclockwise up to the stop, and then pull it off
straight from the front (Fig.9). Do not tilt!
9. Pull the running unit out of the motor housing (Fig.10). During assembly, attach
the pump housing with the pressure socket at an angle, press firmly and then
turn straight to the right.
10.Unscrew the top section of the fountain attachment. Remove all dirt. All nozzle
outlets must be unobstructed.
– Assemble the unit in the reverse order and direction of dismantling.
Maintenance
– Always ensure that the pump is completely immersed in water. Insufficient
water may lead to the rotor rotating in the wrong direction. Remedy: disconnect
the power supply, top up the water,and switch pump on again.
– The bottom section of the unit must be free of dirt, that means all filter slots
must be open. If they are dirty, clean them (see Cleaning).
– If the running unit is blocked, also clean the pump.
– Store the unit frost-free in the winter (see Wintering).
