OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For best performance use fresh alkaline batteries. To install batteries, position fan face down,
slide out battery door on back, install batteries following (+/-) marks and replace door. You
may have to push down as you slide in. As a safety precaution, the fan includes 2 screws to lock
the battery compartment. Tighten screws using #1 Phillips screwdriver. Screws do not have to
be removed from the battery cover. To operate, slide switch located on side of fan. To operate
fan using AC power (120-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz), use supplied adapter only. Inserting adapter plug
into fan disconnects the installed batteries from the circuit. Remove batteries if fan will be
stored for two weeks.
USING USB CHARGING PORT
To use USB charging port, plug charging cord into USB port on right side of enclosure. Turn
switch to the HIGH or LOW position if you are charging your device while the fan is operating or
in STOP position if fan is not operating. When in the OFF position, the USB charging port will
only operate if the AC is plugged in. The green LED next to the port shows that the charger is
energized. When energized, you can plug your charging cord into your device (cell phone, MP3
player, etc.). If the green LED is not lit, check that an AC adapter is installed or that the alkaline
batteries are fresh. The USB port will provide at least 500 mA of current (standard USB) when
alkaline batteries are fresh. When all the power sources are low, it may not provide enough
power for the USB power port. For quickest results when charging a device from the USB port,
switch the fan to STOP position. Using the USB charging port will decrease the number of hours
that the fan can run on the batteries. Following information applies when unit is supplied with
USB power adapter.

no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by
one or more of the following measures:
* Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
* Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
* Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
