3.9 M.2 SLOTS FOR STORAGE
There are two M.2 slots on the N7 motherboard.
You will need to remove the steel cover pieces
prior to installation. The M.2 slots supports form
factors up to type 2280.
• If you have installed an M.2 drive, we recommend leaving the cover off to
ensure optimal cooling for your M.2 drives.
• Intel® RST only supports PCIe M.2 SSD with UEFI ROM.
• Intel® Optane™ Memory Ready for all M.2 slots.
