The N Series speakers feature a dedicated MIC IN channel (CH1)
with independent level control.
1. Make sure the speaker is OFF.
2. Plug in your microphone into the ¼
˝
mic input (CH1).
3. Keep master VOLUME at 0 position.
4. Turn CH1 LEVEL to 0 position.
5. Turn the speaker ON.
6. Slowly turn CH1 LEVEL clockwise until you achieve appropriate
volume setting. This is determined by the CLIP LED indicator light.
Proper function is achieved when the CLIP indicator lights up at
peak levels, it should never be in constant on position.
7. The above adjustment matched the microphone preamp to the input
volume of the speaker.
8. Now turn up the master VOLUME to necessary level by rotating
clockwise.
To avoid feedback distortion, always stand behind the speaker when
making microphone adjustments.
The AUX IN channel (CH3) allows for input from smart phones, MP3
players, CD players, or any other external signal source via RCA jacks.
1. Make sure the speaker is OFF.
2. Connect signal source into the L & R RCA aux inputs (CH3).
3. Keep master VOLUME at 0 position.
4. Turn CH3 LEVEL to 0 position.
5. Turn the speaker ON.
You can use the LINE IN channel (CH2) when you wish to hook up an
additional stereo signal source without the use of a mixer console.
1. Make sure the speaker is OFF.
2. Plug the signal source into the ¼
˝
line input (CH2).
3. Keep master VOLUME at 0 position.
4. Turn CH2 LEVEL to 0 position.
5. Turn the speaker ON.
6. Slowly turn CH2 LEVEL clockwise until the CLIP LED indicator
begins to blink, then turn it down slightly. This indicates the maxi-
mum input voltage gain is matched and set properly.
7. Now turn up the master VOLUME to necessary level by rotating
clockwise.
