8.2 Hands-free profile (HFP)

This section shows how to configure i.MX 8M Quad EVK to act as HFP Gateway only.

•

Connect a Bluetooth device (refer to 

Section 7 "Bring-up of Bluetooth"

).

•

Open an application from which 

voice call

 can be carried out, for example Skype or

WhatsApp.

•

Figure 35

 is a screenshot of a voice call done using Bluetooth Hands Free Profile.
