INSTALLING THE ROUTER
These instructions are divided into four parts, one for each router model:
• "Installing the NV6064" on page 2-6
• "Installing the NV6128" on page 2-7
• "Installing the NV6256" on page 2-8
• "Installing the NV8256" on page 2-10
Use the part that applies to your router and then turn to the information at the end of
the section that applies to all models. Refer also to specific connection details for each
model and for all models in Section 1.
Note: Please be aware of cooling requirements. Router placement in the
equipment rack must allow unrestricted air flow through the front and a minimum
of six inches clearance at the rear. In addition, the frame must be operated with
the door closed. The door may be left open for a short time, but irregular
performance may occur. The temperature and performance will stabilize within 5
minutes after the door is closed.
