MASTER/SLAVE CAPABILITY (OPTIONAL)
In the Master/Slave application, only one Remote Access Communication board is required. All the alarms are
communicated through the TLAN serial connection, except the door open and/or smoke detected alarm. Door open
and/or smoke detected function can be remotely changed from Normally Open to Normally Close if needed.
Note: If the door open and/or smoke detected harness is not used, and the door switch is wired to only
one of the units, for instance, the master unit. If the power of the master unit is OFF, the slave units will
not detect the door open alarm and they will continue operating in standalone mode even if the door is
open.
