Open the CorSync app and let it connect to your monitor as soon as
you put the monitor on, or as soon as you arrive at the gym.

Problem pairing/connecting Nuvita HR monitor in CorSync app
These steps, done in the order listed, fix most problems connecting or receiving heart rate.
1.
Ensure your phone is compatible:
•
Android: Check About on your phone settings. Must be Android version 5.0 or higher.
•
Apple: Model must be minimum iPhone 4s, iPad Touch 5, iPad 3, or all iPad Minis.
2.
Ensure Bluetooth (BT) is turned on in your phone
’
s connection settings. Do NOT pair the Nuvita
cardio monitor in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Only pair the monitor in the
CorSync app.
3.
Make sure the strap is properly positioned, snug and wet with water
.
4.
If the device is not connecting or reading your heart rate:
•
Remove the strap from your chest.
•
Disconnect the Nuvita monitor from the chest strap.
•
Wipe the connection snaps on the monitor with a clean, dry cloth.
•
Re-wet the electrodes on the strap with water.
•
Connect the Nuvita monitor to the chest strap and put it back on your chest.
5.
Power off the phone. Power back on. Check to see if you can now get HR in the CorSync app.
6.
If it is still not working, reset the Nuvita cardio monitor:
•
Disconnect the Nuvita monitor from the chest strap & open up the battery cover on the
back (a quarter works good to open the cover).
•
Remove the battery. You can turn the monitor upside down & tap it so it pops out.
•
Flip the battery upside down
and insert it back into the monitor. Wait for 2 seconds.
•
Remove the battery. You may need to tap it a bit harder to get it to pop out this time.
•
Re-install the battery and cover. The writing on the battery should be facing up.
•
Wet the electrodes on the strap with water and put the strap on.
7.
Re-pair the monitor if it has been previously paired:
•
Remove the monitor from the NuvitaCorSync
app: Tap “More” on the menu at the
bottom of the app, tap Paired Devices, tap ‘
Forget this device
’ if that setting is shown.
•
Then under More / Paired Devices, tap the green Pair/Connect bar to pair your monitor.
When pairing your monitor, be at least 50 feet away from anyone else who may be
wearing a Bluetooth heart rate monitor so you don’t pair with their monitor.
8.
Change the battery in the Nuvita monitor (battery model CR2032).
