8˝ Inside Speaker
MODEL: IS-448 Series
For use with IM-4406 and IMA-4006 Series Systems
ROUGH-IN FRAME MOUNTING
The IS-448 8˝ Speaker is mounted to the IR-80
Rough-In Frame.
NEW CONSTRUCTION
The IR-80 Frame is mounted to a wall stud during
rough-in construction. The IW-6 wiring is also run
during rough-in construction. The Speaker is mounted
to the frame once the finished wall is in place.

EXISTING CONSTRUCTION
The IR-80 Frame requires a cutout in the finished
wall. The Frame may be mounted either directly to a
wall stud or between wall studs. The wiring is installed
through the existing walls. See IR-80 Installation
Instructions.
WIRING
Refer to Figure 1.
As illustrated, connect wires from the master unit to
the six (6) screw terminals. Red wire to the terminal
marked red, red/white to the terminal marked red/white,
etc.
MOUNTING
Refer to Figure 2.
1. Carefully place wires inside wall.
2. Using the mounting holes in the speaker body,
secure the speaker to the frame with four (4)
provided screws.

operating instructions and warranty information. If
Operator’s Manual has been misplaced, write to:
