Error codes / common problems
The welding units have various safety systems to monitor welding and welding parameter entry.
Error codes are always displayed on the screen. To delete a displayed error code, disconnect the
fitting and press
ESCAPE
or ESC when prompted.

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE
OFF LIMITS
La temperatura ambiente è inferiore a
-10°C o superiore a 45°C.
Check that the temperature reading on the
welding unit screen is consistent with the actual
room temperature. Prevent direct exposure to
sunlight. If the room temperature read by the
welding unit is not correct, contact our Customer
Service Representative staff.

SHORT CIRCUIT/
OVERLOAD
Current has exceeded limit
(partial fitting short-circuit or fitting made by
other manufacturers).
Replace fitting.

OPEN CIRCUIT
Fitting might be faulty or welding cables not
correctly connected to the fitting.
Check connection to the fitting.
Check connectors efficiency.

ADJUSTMENT
Extension cable out of tolerance range.
Check that extension diameter and length are
within the recommended range of values.

MAX INSIDE
TEMPERATURE
Polyvalent welder inside temperature over 80°C. Wait for the welding unit to cool down.

POWER FAILURE
A power failure has occurred during welding.
After restoring normal power input parameters,
wait for the fitting to cool down completely before
repeating the welding procedure from the start.

MANUAL STOP
ESC has been pressed during the welding cycle.
Wait for the fitting to cool down completely
before repeating the welding procedure from the
start.

INPUT VOLTAGE OFF
LIMITS
Input voltage is higher or lower than the rated
operating voltage by 20%.
Make sure that the power source or the generator
are operating efficiently.

NOT WELDABLE
You are trying to weld a fitting made by another
manufacturer.
Check the type of fitting being welded.

RESIST. OUTSIDE
TOLERANCE RANGE
The fitting resistance is outside of the permitted
range of values or the welding cables are not
correctly connected to the fitting.
Check that the connectors are correctly plugged
in the fitting or scan the fitting barcode again;
should this not work, replace the fitting. If these
problem persists contact our Customer Service
Representative staff.

Welding cable is damaged
Do not weld and replace damaged part.
