5. Cautions for use

The NUM’AXES rangefinder employs an eye-safe laser. Nevertheless, do not switch
the unit while aiming at a human eye or while looking into the lens.

Do not press jointly the On button and the Mode button.
−
Keep the rangefinder out of reach of children.
−
Do not disassemble the product.
−
Do not use any power source other than a 3V CR2 Lithium battery.
−
Make sure the battery polarity is correct.
−
Remove the battery from the product if you are not using it for an extended period.
6. Maintenance
Lenses
−
Do not wipe dust or sand from the lens, but rather blow it off or remove it using a
soft lens brush.

Fingerprints may affect the lens surfaces after a time. The easiest way to clean lens
surfaces is to breathe on them and rub them using a clean optic-cleaning cloth.

Use of a coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and
eventually cause permanent damage.
−
Do not use a velvet cloth or ordinary tissue, as it may scratch the lens surface.
