GENERAL INFORMATION
•
Now that the machine is unpacked remember to
recycle all packing materials.
•
Inspect the machine for damage or missing
components. If damage is found, contact the local
freight company to file a freight claim.
ASSEMBLY
•
The Outlaw Back Vac requires minimal assembly.
The filter bags must be installed properly prior to
using this machine. Use of the paper filter facilitate
easier disposal of debris.
•
This machine is packed to enable the user to
simply remove it from the carton, attach the wand
or power wand, plug in the machine and be ready
to operate.
MACHINE COMPONENTS
Top Cover
The tank closes with a top cover that can be adjusted
for either right or left handed use.
Harness
•
The hip belt is 2 inches wide, adjustable, and
padded for comfort.
•
The shoulder straps have an adjustable pad for
comfort.
•
The harness mounted to the body of the machine
by a platform, this platform can be moved to (3)
three different positions for additional comfort.
Filters
•
The re-useable cloth filter bag must be used with
the paper filter insert.
•
The paper filter bag must be inserted inside a cloth
bag. The cloth bag supports the paper filter. With
out the cloth bag the paper filter will burst or be
blown out of position.
•
Paper filter bags are used for easy removal of
debris from the cloth filter bag. Remove the paper
filter bag when full, dispose of it, and replace with a
new paper filter bag.
Tank Capacity
The tank recovery capacity of this machine is 6.5
quarts (6.15l.).
Optional HEPA Filter
•
HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air) are
available for picking up non-hazardous materials,
they keep the finest contaminants from being
exhausted back into the air.
•
This filter can be purchased and mounted to any
unit at any time.
Optional Blower Attachment
•
A blower attachment is available to convert the unit
to a blower.
•
The blower attachment can be purchased and
mounted to the unit at any time.
•
The blower attachment can be used to move or
disperse debris such as pop cans and candy
wrappers in theaters.
Power Wand Option
•
This option can be added only to a unit with this
factory-installed option.
MACHINE OPERATION
With the switch in the off position, plug the electrical
cord into an approved outlet (See page 2). Turn on the
machine with the switch located on the right side of the
machine.
•
Attachments may be added for overhead cleaning
in such applications as removing dust from tops of
door and window frames, walls and ledges.
•
Brush and upholstery tools may be added to aid in
hand work. Select the proper tool for the maximum
cleaning result.
•
When using the machine on floors, the operator
should drop their arm slightly to allow air to enter
the front edge of the tool on the forward stroke. On
the backward stroke the operator should raise their
arm slightly to allow the back edge of the tool to
clear the floor. This method gives the air a chance
to do the work in the most effective manner.
•
The operator should make strokes at a leisurely
pace and at a length that feels the most natural.
